The latest talk of Kollywood is that Jithan Ramesh's Puli Varudhu and Vijay starrer Azhagiya Tamil Magan are quite similar.

Puli Varudhu is about a youth who has Extra Sensory Perception (ESP) and comes to know through is dreams what would happen the next day.

The problems, that he faces because of his ESP and how he overcomes forms the major part of the story. Also Vijay is reportedly playing a youth possessing ESP in ATM.

According to GV Kumar, who directs Puli Varudhu, “Several people have asked me the same question. However, I don't know what the story of Azhagiya Tamil Magan is. The story of Puli Varudhu was conceived almost a couple of years ago by me and I have registered it with the writer's association. The storywriter of Azhagiya Tamil Magan Jeeva and I are friends and we both discussed the story long back. Even if they are inspired by the same theme, all depends on how we present it on the screen”.
